Spreading Sunshine as we watch love grow!
Rays of Sunshine SCC began in 2025 with a goal of acknowledging widows in our area. We are in Sun City Center, Florida, a welcoming retirement community in Hillsborough County, about 30 miles south of Tampa. Our 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization’s Valentine’s Project demonstrates love & caring for widows by personally delivering them a lovingly created floral bouquet & gift.
Brightening Someone's Day
Being thought of is especially meaningful after losing a spouse. Our annual Valentine’s mission is to remember these individuals at a time of year when love is celebrated. Rays of Sunshine SCC delivers volunteer-created floral arrangements with the purpose of bringing joy & reminding these community members they are cherished
I just received the most beautiful flowers and gifts, and I am speechless and my heart feels so much love. I feel like I won an Academy Award or a medal at the Olympics. It is a feeling of someone caring… so much love. Thank you
